Personal Lines Insurance CSR needed for an Insurance Agency located in Gulfport, FL. Immediate opening with opportunity for career growth!

STATUS: Direct Hire
WORKPLACE: Onsite Monday-Friday (Gulfport, FL), unless weather dictates work-from-home necessity
HOURS: 8:00am–5:00pm Monday-Friday
PAY: $50k - $55k, depending on experience
BENEFITS: This agency offers a solid benefits package, including 401K

The Customer Service Representative will work with a team of 5, assist in managing a $3 million book of business, and provide support to Office Manager.

JOB DUTIES include, but are not limited to:

First point of contact for incoming calls, providing excellent customer service at all times
Quoting new business coverage, help develop new accounts
Forwarding submission packages to appropriate carrier
Taking claim information, answer questions
Assist in servicing existing accounts, including renewal process and cross-selling
Provide administrative assistance to Office Manager and team as needed

QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to:

Minimum 1 year recent experience in Personal Lines with an Independent Agency, including Homeowner, Flood, Auto, Motorcycle, RV, Marine lines.
Must hold an active FL 2044 or 220 Property/Casualty license. Active FL 440 Personal lines license is acceptable, if willing to obtain 2044 in reasonable amount of time.
Hawksoft experience preferred, but not mandatory. EZ Lynx and/or QuoteRush a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Spanish-bilingual fluency a plus, but not required.
Attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is a must.
Strong verbal & written communication, along with personable, attentive customer service ability.
Verifiable references from recent employment.
High School diploma, or equivalency of.
Must be able to pass Background Check requirements.
Legal residents of Florida only, Visa sponsorship not available. W2 only.
