Job Description

Experienced Payroll Administrator needed for growing organization based in Scottsdale, AZ. Multi-faceted role will process payroll end-to-end for multiple entities across various states and pay cycles. Paylocity experience a plus!

STATUS: Direct-Hire, Full-time
WORKPLACE: Onsite (Scottsdale, AZ) with potential for Hybrid option in future
HOURS: Full-time, Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
SALARY: $70,000-$75,000 annual, DOE (salaried exempt)

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Process full-cycle payroll for multiple legal entities across multiple states and varying pay frequencies.
Ensure accurate calculation of wages, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and taxes.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Serve as the primary owner of Paylocity payroll, assist with data management and optimization.
Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate data flow and reporting.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries and support audits and reconciliations.
Create and maintain payroll processes, documentation, and internal controls.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-entity, multi-state environment.
Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws and multi-state payroll compliance.
Paylocity experience strongly preferred, or similar payroll/HRIS platform.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources (or related field) a plus, or equivalent experience.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple payrolls and deadlines.
Strong technical proficiencies, including MSOffice Suite (Excel, Teams, etc).
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification a plus.
HRIS implementation experience a plus but not required.
Legal residents of AZ only. Visa sponsorship not available. W2 only.
