Non-profit Appointment Rep (CSR) – REMOTE.  Multiple openings! 

Join the team of a friendly, community-minded non-profit organization as a "Customer Service/Appointment Representative"!  After 1 week of onsite training, fully remote position. Great organization and a wonderful way to give back to the community! 
  • HOURS:  Full-Time Hours, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm OR Tuesday-Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm
  • DURATION:  Long-term temporary, potential for Full-time hire
  • WORKPLACE:  100% Remote AFTER  1 week onsite training
  • PAY:  $17.00-$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • BENEFITS:  Weekly payroll, direct deposit, online time entry, sick leave pay, monthly Internet stipend, and upon meeting eligibility: holiday pay, vacation pay and 401K plan.            
  •  If/when Full-time hire, benefits include: medical/dental/vision insurance, 403(b) with matching, EAP, PTO, holiday pay, and sick leave pay. 
   
Job Duties will include, but are not limited to:
You will answer phones, make appointments and route calls to the appropriate department.  You will also make 'warm' outgoing calls to previous donors of the organization to schedule appointments and cultivate community relations.  NO SALES!  

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience, preferably telemarketing and/or call center setting
  • Spanish-bilingual a plus!
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, type 35wpm
  • Must possess High School diploma (or equivalency of)
  • Able to adhere to regular and consistent attendance, as defined per Company policy
  • Must possess effective communication and listening skills; ability to communicate in a professional manner that the listener can understand, as well as paraphrasing as needed to explain nature of call and goal
  • Verifiable references from recent employment
  • Must be able to pass Background check and Drug screen requirements
  • Legal residents of California only. Visa Sponsorship not available. W2 only
