Job Description

Proactive, detail-oriented HR Generalist needed to support our client's growing organization based in Scottsdale, AZ (in-office position). This role is responsible for providing day-to-day HR support across multiple functions including employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, compliance, HR administration, and recordkeeping. Experience with employee benefits administration is highly preferred and will be a valuable asset in this role.

STATUS:  Direct-Hire
HOURS:  Full-Time Hours, Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
WORKPLACE:  This is an in-office position in Scottsdale, AZ with hybrid potential in future.
SALARY:  $75,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries.
  • Partner with management to promote a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, investigations, and follow-through.
Recruiting & Onboarding
  • Support recruitment activities including posting positions, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with offer letters.
  • Manage new-hire onboarding, orientation, and required paperwork.
  • Coordinate offboarding, exit interviews, and final documentation.
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain complete and confidential employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance initiatives (EEO, I-9, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
  • Update and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Benefits Administration (Strong Plus)
  • Support open enrollment, employee benefits communication, and year-round benefits administration.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions regarding medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), FSA/HSA, and other programs.
  • Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
Payroll Support
  • Assist with payroll changes, employee updates, timekeeping reviews, and coordination with the payroll team.
  • Ensure accuracy of wage, deduction, and benefit information.
HR Projects & Initiatives
  • Contribute to HR process improvements, culture initiatives, training programs, and engagement efforts.
  • Support annual performance review cycles and workforce reporting.

Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
  • 3–5+ years of Human Resources experience, Generalist level preferred.
  • PHR or aPHR
  • Benefits administration experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Paylocity HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) at minimum; Bachelor's or Associates preferred.
  • Legal residents of Arizona only. Visa Sponsorship Not Available. W2 only.
